LastQR: Ordering and Payment from Mobile via QR Code
LastQR is a feature that allows customers to place orders and pay directly from their mobile phones by scanning a QR code located on their table or in a visible area of the restaurant. This system streamlines in-house operations by automating order-taking and reducing the need for staff intervention.
There are three different usage models within the LastQR functionality, designed to adapt to each venue’s operational needs:
QR Code Linked to a Specific Table
In this setup, each QR code is tied to a specific table in the restaurant.
When a customer scans the code and places an order from their phone, a ticket is automatically created in the POS, linked to that table.
No action is required from the staff to generate the order.
You can configure whether orders are printed immediately or only once paid.
The system creates a “Restaurant”-type order, marked with the symbol QXXX and the corresponding table number.
Important: Each table must have its own unique QR code.
QR Code Without Table Association
This model allows customers to order from their phone without linking the QR code to a specific table.
Ideal for common areas, bars, counters, or venues without table assignments.
Orders are created automatically in the POS, no staff input required.
Print settings can be configured as in the previous model (always or only after payment).
A Restaurant-type ticket is generated with symbol QXXX, but with no table assigned.
QR Code for Take Away
This model is intended for takeaway orders.
Customers scan a QR code and place their order from their mobile to pick it up later at the location.
Orders are registered automatically in the POS.
You can choose whether orders are printed after payment or immediately.
A Takeaway-type order is created, marked with the symbol QXXX.
